<Backstory: An old timer in the city, Verdam had a reputation for being strong and good with medicine. He decided to remain neutral in the combine/rebels fight, tending to both at his makeshift hospital in his flat. He never really had any problems with either side, until one day... This specific day, he was tending to a CCA that had been shot in the kneecap but was too far away to receive treatment from the medics the Combine normally use. He was halfway through attempting to piece back the kneecap when his door was kicked down by a group of rebels. He was held at gunpoint while the rebels killed the CCA. After this day, Verdam became a strong loyalist to the Combine cause, tending only to combine-approved patients and the Combine themselves.
